Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State. 2. This application u/s 528 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (hereinafter referred to as BNSS) has been filed seeking following relief:- "It is, therefore most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to allow this application and quash the entire proceeding of Case No.2885 of 2023 (Ragini Vs. Sant Lal Kannaujiya), under Section 125 Cr.P.C. on the basis of Notarial affidavit dated 21.08.2023, pending in the court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Jaunpur." 3. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the applicant that both the parties have settled the dispute and compromised the aforesaid case and thus impugned proceedings may be quashed on the basis of compromise. 4. In view of aforesaid, it is directed that in case both the parties file an appropriate application for compromise before the Family Court concerned within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered and decided expeditiously in accordance with law by the Family Court concerned. 5.
