The facts leading to filing of the present Writ Petition are as follows: The Petitioner was appointed as a Home Guard in the year 2021 and was discharging his duties regularly. As Criminal Cases were filed against the Petitioner for various offenses mentioned in the Order dated 12.05.2022, the services of the Petitioner as a home guard were held to be undesirable, and therefore the petitioner was removed from service. Subsequently, the Petitioner was acquitted in all the Criminal Cases and thereafter made an application for reconsideration of the Order of Removal dated 12.05.2022 passed by the Respondent No. 3. As the same is not being % 3 considered, the present Writ Petition is filed. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that the representation/appeal would be considered appropriate orders will be passed thereon by the Respondent No.4. and Considering the submissions made, the present Writ Petition is disposed of with the following directions: (i) The Respondent No.4 is directed to examine the appeal/representation of the Petitioner dated 30.09.2024 merits and pass appropriate orders within a period of One (01) month. 4. on (ii) There shall be no order as to costs.
