Issue notice to respondents returnable forthwith. Learned A.G.P. waives service for the respondents. 2. The petitioners claim to have belonged to “Koli Mahadev”, Scheduled Tribe. Their tribe claims have been invalidated by the Scrutiny Committee and, therefore, they are 2025:BHC-AUG:28720-DB W.P. No.12584/2025 :: 2 :: before us in this petition. 3. The fact is that, the cousins of the petitioners have been granted validity pursuant to the order dated 22/8/2023, passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.9041/2019 with connected petitions. The relationship between them is not disputed. Nothing otherwise is shown to take a different view than the one taken in the above Writ Petition and connected petitions. In view of the above, we pass the following order : O R D E R (i) The writ petition is partly allowed. (ii) The impugned order is quashed and set aside. (iii) The Scrutiny Committee shall forthwith issue tribe validity certificates to the petitioners of belonging to “Koli Mahadev”, Scheduled Tribe, on the condition that the validity certificates shall be subject to final outcome of the reverification undertaken by the Scrutiny Committee. (iv) The certificates of validity shall be issued strictly in the prescribed format without incorporating other conditions/ W.P. No.12584/2025 :: 3 :: additions.
