The Court made the following order: HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE MAHESWARA RAO KUNCHEAM WRIT PETITION No.18625 of 2017 ORDER: The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking the following main relief: “to issue a Writ, Order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the Respondent in not sanctioning superannuation pension, gratuity, and other retiral benefits due to the Petitioner, in spite of his acquittal vide judgment dt.20.02.2017 in CC No.68 of 2015 on the file of IV Addl. When the matter came up for hearing, Sri T.Deva Deepak, learned counsel representing Sri V.Jagapathi, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of subsequent events in the lis, the cause in the present writ petition does not survive for further adjudication. 3. Recording the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
