The State of Andhra Pradesh and others ...Respondents ********** Advocate for Appellants Advocate for Respondents Sri Ch. Vedavani Learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Sri B. V. Anjaneyulu, Sri Yarraguntia Koteswara Rao, learned Standing Counsel for Arisepalli Panchayat. CORAM :THE CHIEF JUSTICE DHIRAJ SINGH THAKUR SRI JUSTICE RAVI CHEEMALAPATI DATE : 2nd September 2025 PC : The present Writ Appeal has been preferred against the order dated 19.08.2025 passed in I.A.No.2 of 2025 in Writ Petition No.8112 of 2025. The case of the appellants before the learned single Judge was that no permission for carrying out any construction activity by respondent No.6 could be granted without obtaining the requisite permission to convert the agricultural land for non agricultural purposes for which only the Revenue Divisional Officer could have granted permission. 2. 2 that subsequently, the respondents, in their counter affidavit, record the permission which was granted for converting the land in 3. It appears placed on question for user for non agricultural purposes. Learned counsel for the appellants would submit that the said order for permitting conversion was ante dated as when the case had come up before the learned single Judge on the earlier date of hearing, a statement had been made that the permission had not been obtained as yet. 4. do not wish to enter into the issue at this stage. It would be open to the writ petitioners to challenge the grant of permission if it is otherwise not in accordance with the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural Land (Conversion for Non Agricultural Purposes) Act, 2006. We do not find any merit in the present appeal. 5. We, however. Accordingly, the Writ Appeal is dismissed. No order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
