Petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No.114 of 2024, arising out of Ghatshila (Women & Child Protection) P.S. Case No. 08 of 2023, corresponding to G.R. Case No.24 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 376, 323, 504 of the Indian Penal Code and chargesheet has been submitted under Section 376 of the IPC, pending in the Court of learned District and Additional Sessions Judge-I, Ghatshila. Petitioner is alleged to have established consensual physical relationship with the informant, who is a widow. It appears that parties were in consensual physical relationship since last three years and when the petitioner has refused to marry her, this case has been instituted. In view of the aforesaid fact, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned District and Additional Sessions Judge-I, Ghatshila, in connection with S.T.
