A case has been registered against the petitioner for the offences under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C) read with 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. 3. The case of the prosecution is that: On 14.10.2024 about 02.00 pm, on receipt of credible information regarding illegal possession and transportation of ganja, the s.I of Police, Yeleswaram Police Station, along with staff reached Yeleswaram-Narsimpatnam road, near sathemma thalli temple, outskirts of Rayavaram village and started conducting vehicle checking. They apprehended one silver colour bullet bearing registration no. AP 26 BE 5355, which was driven by the petitioner, and on enquiry the accused disclosed his identity particulars and on search, they found 34.085 kgs of ganja from the possession of the petitioner. Then police Seized the Vehicle, arrested the accused and got remanded tO judicial custody. - 2 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. Learned Assistant public Prosecutor submits that major part of the l'nvestigation is completed. 6. A perusal of the material avallable on record goes to showthaton credible information, police conducted vehicle checking and found the accused whl'le transporting 34.085 kgs of ganja, on 14.10.2024 and the petl'tioner was arrested and contraband was seized from his possession. petitioner was arrested on 14.10.2024 and since then he has been jn judicial remand. The petitioner is in judicial remand for more than 105 days. Learned Assistant public Prosecutor submitted that major portion of investjgatI'On has been completed except filing of charge sheet. 7. ln vl-ew of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, thl's court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner herel-n, on the following condjtI-OnS. (i) The petitioner/accused herein shall be released on his executl-ng a personal bond for Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate, PrathI-Padu; (ii) On release, the petitioner shall appear before the station House Officer concerned once in a week i.e. on every sunday between 10.00 a.m. and o5.00 p.m., till filing of charge sheet. 8.
