2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Mandu (WB) P.S. Case No. 187/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 331(4) and 305 of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned Additional C.J.M., Ramgarh.
3. On 04.08.2024, theft was committed in the quarter of the informant situated at Chiratungri. Unknown thieves took away jewelries, electronic items and other articles.
4. It was submitted that some of the stolen articles were recovered from the possession of the petitioner and he is in custody for more than five months. It was further submitted that the petitioner had got no criminal antecedent and the offence alleged is triable by a Court of Judicial Magistrate.
5. Mr. Jitendra Pandey, learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail.
6. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional C.J.M., Ramgarh in connection with Mandu (WB) P.S. Case No. 187/2024.
