GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the acts things deeds of respondents in not conducting the investigation in Crime No 03 of 2024 of 5th respondent 2 police station dated 12 01 2024 of 5th respondent police station dated 12 01 2024 as per Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita by the respondent nos 3 to 5 which are illegal irregular arbitrary unjust against to the principles of natural justice contrary to the provisions of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhitha and violation of Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India consequently direct the respondents to conduct the investigation and file the charge sheet in crime no.03 of 2024 of respondent no 5 Police Station by fixing the reasonable time.” 2. Heard C.Leela Srinivasa Varma, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a direction may be given to the respondent/police to conclude the investigation in Crime No.03 of 2024 and file a final report. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Police are directed to conclude the investigation in the above crime and file a report in accordance with law, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
