Prayer in the instant civil writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for directing official respondents No. 1 to 6 to take appropriate action against respondent No. 7 (Harjit Kaur) in pursuance to the inquiry report dated 25.01.2023 (Annexure P-1), whereby respondent No. 7 has been held guilty for not performing her duty. 2. At this stage, Mr. Prateek Sodhi, Advocate appears and files Vakalatnama on behalf of respondent No. 7 in Court today itself, which is taken on record subject to all just exceptions. 3. Learned State counsel, on instructions from Mr. Sitara Singh, Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Ajnala, submits that infact the above referred inquiry report dated 25.01.2023 (Annexure P-1) was lacking in material particulars and a fresh inquiry has been initiated, which is being conducted by District Development and Panchayat Officer, Amritsar and that since proceedings already stand pending, the matter would be concluded within a period of three months from today.
