Posted As- Patwari, Village- Lundra (Dhaurpur), District Sarguja, Chhattisgarh. ----Respondents (Cause-title taken from Case Information System) For Petitioner : Ms. Aditi Joshi, Advocate For Respondent/State : Ms. Upasana Mehta, Dy. G.A. Hon’ble Shri Arvind Kumar Verma Order on Board 01/07/2025 1. Counsel for the Petitioner prays for the following relief(s):- (i)That, the Hon’ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction or any other appropriate writ direction to respondent No. 1 & 2 that they should decide the application dated 20.08.2020 and 24.08.2020 made by the petitioner in expedited manner. (iv) Any other relief which may be suitable in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also be granted. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he Petitioner made 2 applications dated 20.08.2020 and 24.08.2020 to the Respondent nos. 1 and 2 i.e. The Sub-Divisional officer, Ambikapur, Dist. Sarguja (C.G.) and Tehsildar, Lundra (Dhaurpur), Dist. Sarguja (C.G.) that the petitioner is the legally wedded wife of the Respondent no. 4 who is serving on the post of Patwari in Lundra (Dhaurpur), Dist. Sarguja (C.G.) and her name shall be included in the service book of her husband as a beneficiary. The Respondent no. 1 i.e. The Sub- Divisional officer, Ambikapur, Dist. Sarguja (C.G.) wrote a directing letter dated 02.09.2020 to the respondent no. 2 i.e. The Tehsildar, Lundra (Dhaurpur), Dist. Sarguja (C.G.) and thereafter the respondent nos. 2 wrote a letter dated 21.10.2020 to the respondent no. 3 i.e. the Revenue Inspector, Lundra (Dhaurpur), Dist. Sarguja (C.G.) directing to take necessary action on the application of the petitioner and submit a report without delay. Thereafter, the application remains pending before the respondent authority for almost 5 years, but nothing avails at their end. It is pertinent to mention at this juncture that the report nor document were submitted by the respondent nos. 2 and 3 till date and the applications of the petitioner is pending since from 20.08.2020. Therefore, he prays for a direction to the respondent authorities to decide the application of the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the State opposes the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, instead of keeping the present writ petition pending, I find it appropriate to dismiss the petition of the petitioner as no ground is made out by the petitioner which warrants interference because the dispute is between the wife and respondent No. 4. Accordingly the writ petition is dismissed. Sd/- (Arvind Kumar Verma) Judge Jyoti
