GP FOR HOME 4 The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer: “….to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the high handed action of the 2nd respondent in trying to demonstrate the respondent nos. 4 to 8 as innocents and to discharge their names from the F.I.R. No. 161/2024, Disha UPS, P.S., Visakhapatnam, but the actual causers are the respondent nos. 4 to 8 and the 2nd respondent creating events to mislead the investigation is illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and violative of principles of natural justice and in violation of Article 14, 21 of the constitution of India and consequently direct the 2nd respondent herein to conduct a proper enquiry on the registered F.I.R. No. 161/2024, Disha UPS, P.S., Visakhapatnam and pass.…” 2. Heard Sri V.Poli naidu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farook, Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the police are not conducting any enquiry and trying to discharge the name of respondent Nos.4 to 8 from the FIR. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that a direction may be given to the police to conclude the investigation. 5. Considering the submissions made, this writ petition is disposed of directing the police to conclude the investigation and file a report according to law, as expeditiously as possible, not less than three months, from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
