Perused the writ petition papers. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner-Institution would submit that the petitioner-Institution has submitted letter dated 12.03.2024 (Annexure-Z) to respondent Nos.1 and 2 seeking permission to proceed further in pursuance to notification issued for inviting application for appointment to the post of Lecturer in Kannada in the petitioner-Institution. The grievance of the petitioner- Institution is that respondents have failed to consider the same and the same is pending before respondent Nos.1 and 2 till this date. - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:4299 WP No. 21919 of 2024 3. Learned Additional Government Advocate on instructions submits that the same would be considered and orders would be passed within two weeks. 4. The petitioner-Institution which is an aided institution of the State is required to take prior approval of the competent authority before resorting to recruitment or appointment. In that regard, petitioner-Institution submitted letter dated 12.03.2024 (Annexure-Z) seeking permission of the competent authority to proceed further in pursuance to notification of appointment for Lecturer in Kannada. The respondent Nos.1 and 2 are statutorily obliged to consider the said representation or letter. Hence, the following: ORDER a) The respondent Nos.2 and 3 are directed to consider Annexure-Z, representation dated 12.03.2024 seeking permission to fill up the post of Lecturer in Kannada in the petitioner-Educational Institution and - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:4299 WP No. 21919 of 2024 pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. b) With the above, writ petition stands disposed of.
