J DILEEP KUMAR 3 The Court made the following: ORDER: This Contempt Case is filed under Sections 10 to 12 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, for the willful disobedience of the orders dated 28.03.2024 in W.P.No.4767 of 2024. 2. Sri Sasanka Bhuvanagiri, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that as against the total amount of Rs.63,40,688/-, the authorities have only paid Rs.52,15,828/-. As such, the authorities have violated the orders of this Court. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the orders of this Court dated 28.03.2024 disobedience of which is complained of in this contempt case has been complied with and the respondents have paid the legally entitled amount to the petitioner. If at all the petitioner had any dispute with regard to the same, he has to approach competent forum claiming the same. As such, there is no willful disobedience as alleged by the petitioner and prayed to close the contempt. 4. Perused the record and considered the submissions. 5. The following is the order of this Court dated 28.03.2024 passed in W.P.No.4767 of 2024: “The respondents are directed to release the legally admitted/entitled amount to the petitioner at the earliest and at any rate, within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. However, with regard to interest is concerned the petitioner is at liberty to approach appropriate forum, if so advised.” 4 6. This Court directed the respondents to release the legally entitled amount to the petitioner however, specific amount was not mentioned. It is the contention of the respondents that they have paid the petitioners the legally entitled amount, as such, there is no willful disobedience as alleged by the petitioner. If at all, the petitioner has any dispute or claim beyond what has been paid by the respondents, he has to approach competent forum with regard to the same. Therefore, the contempt case is liable to be closed. 7. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
