Bhai Hon'ble Salil Kumar Rai,J. The present contempt application has been filed pleading willful disobedience of the order dated 9.10.2023 passed by this Court in Writ - C No.32856 of 2023. In pursuance to the previous order passed by this Court, the compliance affidavits have been filed by the opposite parties which disclose that in accordance with the Government Order, a District Level Committee was constituted to consider the claim of the applicant which held that the water tank was not constructed on the land occupied by the applicant. The counsel for the applicant argues on the merits of the report submitted by the District Level Committee. The merits of the report are not to be considered in proceedings under the contempt of Courts Act, 1971. As the order passed by the Writ Court has been complied by the opposite party, no further orders are required to be passed in the present contempt application. The application is dismissed. The applicant may exercise other remedies available to him in law regarding his title and possession over a plot which is admittedly a minjumla number.
