ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“…pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of mandamus, declaring the action of the Respondents No.4 in summoning the petitioner to their police station without any registration of crime and threatening petitioner to pay huge amount as illegal, arbitrary and amounts to abdication of statutory duties cast up on them and also violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondents 2 to 4 not to interfere with the life and liberty of the Petitioner unless authorized by the law and also direct the Respondent No.2 to 3 to take stringent action against Respondent No.4 and their staff for threatening petitioner to pay an amount of Rs.6,50,000/- pass.…”
2. Heard Sri Venkata Mohan Rao Pathakota, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents.
3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that the petitioner is involved in several criminal cases. He would further submit that on 20.08.2025, one Peddineni Venkateswarlu, lodged a written report stating that the petitioner and others induced him in the name of gold, cheated him and grabbed a total of Rs.16,00,000/- and escaped. On receipt of the said complaint, the respondent police entered the report of Peddineni Venkateshwarlu in General Diary. He

would further submit that the police never summoned the petitioner to the police station and threatened the petitioner to implicate in false cases.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that recording the same, the petition may be disposed of.
5. Recording the above said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
