The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondent No.2 to renew the arms licence of the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the application for renewal of the arms licence was filed in the year 2023 but the same has not been decided till date. 3. At this stage, Mr. Nitin Kaushal, Addl. AG, Haryana has submitted that he has instructions to state that the pending application for renewal shall be considered and decided within a period of three months. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in view of the statement made by the learned State counsel, the present petition may be disposed of.
