ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“…pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the 5th respondent in calling the petitioner to the 4th respondent Police Station for the purpose of settling civil disputes with the 6th respondent, which are already pending before a competent Court, as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional, violative of Articles 14, 19(g), and 21 of the Constitution of India, and opposed to the principles of natural justice and consequently, to direct the 5th respondent not to call the petitioner to the 4th respondent Police Station in connection with such civil disputes and pass.…”
2. Heard Sri Ponnekanti Mallikarjuna Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the petitioner is an accused in Crime No.106 of 2023 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 506 of IPC and charge sheet is filed in this matter vide C.C No.731 of 2023 dated 30.09.2023. The Station House Officer, has received a complaint from the witnesses that the petitioner is interfering with the witnesses and that is why, the petitioner was called to the police station. He would further submit that the police are not interfering in the civil disputes.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that recording the same, the petition may be disposed of.
5. Considering the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed to follow due process of law regarding the C.C No.731 of 2023 to secure the presence of the petitioner at police station. No order as to costs.
