1. The present writ petition has been filed for following relief:-
“for issuance of an appropriate writ/writs,
order/orders, direction/directions or a writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing upon the respondents to grant the Arms licence (Revolver) to the petitioner earliest within the time limit as fixed by Hon'ble Court as his grievances has not been redressed as yet since 07.09.2011.”

2. It has been submitted that during pendency of the present writ petition the prayer for arms license has been rejected by the authority against which there is alternate remedy available.
3. In that view of the matter, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition with a liberty to work out his remedy in accordance with law.
4. Permission is granted.
5. Accordingly, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of as withdrawn.
6. Pending I.A., if any, also stands disposed of.
