JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH ----- For the Petitioner : Mr. Vijay Kumar Roy, Advocate For the State : Mr. Sardhu Mahto, A.P.P. --- 02/12.03.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Dhanwar P.S. Case No. 187 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. No.2374 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 80/3(5) of the B.N.S., pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Giridih. The petitioner happens to be the husband of the deceased namely Priyanshu Devi, who died due to asphyxia because of hanging in her matrimonial home within seven years of marriage. Mr. Sardhu Mahto, learned A.P.P. has produced the case diary. From perusal of which, it appears that all the witnesses have stated that the deceased was tortured to enforce additional demand of dowery due to which she committed suicide. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
