For Petitioner(s): Mr.D.Thirumoorthy For Respondent: Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, Government Advocate for R1 to R6 ORDER This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 4 th respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 29.01.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking for the survey of the subject https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 8096 of 2025 property and for demarcation of boundaries in order to enable the issuance of individual patta in the name of the petitioner with respect to the subject property. 2. Heard Mr.D.Thirumoorthy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 6. 3. The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property through a sale deed dated 28.09.2022 registered as document No.2816 of 2022. A manavari patta was also issued in the name of the petitioner in Patta No.115. The petitioner wanted a survey to be conducted in the subject property for demarcation of boundaries. Whenever the survey was sought to be made, the 7 th respondent was interfering with the same. Hence, no survey was conducted and it is under these circumstances, the present writ petition came to be filed before this Court. 4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit an on-line application to the 4 th respondent along with all the relevant materials and particulars by paying the necessary charges. On receipt of the same, the 4 th respondent shall act upon the application and conduct the survey based on the title deed relied upon by the petitioner and patta that stands in the name of the petitioner and the said process shall be completed https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 8096 of 2025 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of on-line application from the petitioner. If there are any rival claimants, the survey shall be conducted in their presence. 5. This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
