With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard at this stage.

Petitioner is serving as Shastri at GMS Jullikot, under complex GSSS Kaobil, Tehsil Rampur, District Shimla. The case of the petitioner is that he was serving as Shastri at GMS Suru, under complex GSSS Jeori, District Shimla, a hard area. Petitioner had completed much more than his normal tenure at the aforesaid station, however,

he was not transferred from the said hard area. In the interregnum, GMS Suru was de-notified. Consequently, the respondent-Department adjusted the petitioner at GMS Jullikot, again a hard area. That the petitioner is serving in the hard areas w.e.f. January, 2015 till date. In view of this and being faced with adverse family circumstances, petitioner preferred a representation on 16.06.2025 (Annexure P-5) to the competent authority, however, the same has not been considered and decided till date.

Looking to the limited grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.2/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 16.06.2025 (Annexure P-5) in accordance with law and applicable transfer policy, within a period of three weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner.
The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
