No.2/State. Cr. MP No. 5297 of 2025 By way of this application, the indulgence of this Court has been sought to extend the time for compliance of order dated 17.06.2025. On 17.06.2025, the Criminal Revision preferred by the petitioner/applicant, bearing Criminal Revision No. 546 of 2024, was decided on the basis of the compromise effected between the parties. However, the said order was passed subject to deposit of 8% of the cheque amount as a compounding fee. 50% of the compounding fee was ordered to be deposited with the Member Secretary, H.P. State Legal Services Authority, Shimla, and the remaining 50% was ordered to be deposited with the H.P. High Court Staff Welfare Organization, Shimla, within a period of ten weeks.
Admittedly, the said order has not been complied with, within the stipulated time; hence, as per the order dated 17.06.2025, the proceedings against the petitioner were revived. As per the contents of the application, as well as, the accompanying documents, the said order has now been complied with. Although the compliance was made after the prescribed period of limitation, in such a situation, it is deemed to have been made within the stipulated period. Ordered accordingly. The application stands disposed of. (Virender Singh) Judge December 02, 2025 (Shamsh Tabrez)
