Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Narayanpur P.S. Case No. 71/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 399, 402, 120B of the I.P.C. and Section 25(1-B) a, 25(6), 26/35 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned A.C.J.M, Jamtara. On 30.06.2024, Narayanpur Police intercepted a Bolero bearing Registration No. JH-02-M-2700 near Lakargada Hatiya Maidan, (Narayanpur). Co-accused Safakat Ali was apprehended from the said vehicle, while other accused persons managed to escape. It is alleged that an automatic pistol was recovered from the possession of Safakat Ali. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was neither apprehended at the spot, nor anything was recovered from his possession. It appears that similarly situated co- accused has been granted bail by this court vide B.A. No. 137/2025 and the case of the petitioner stands on similar footing. Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M, Jamtara in connection with Narayanpur P.S.
