Case No. 187 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 21 (b) & 22 (b) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of Sri Ranjeet Kumar, learned Sessions Judge, Hazaribag. It was submitted that 14 grams of brown sugar were recovered from the possession of the petitioner and co-accused. It was further submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and the quantum of seized brown sugar comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. Learned A.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail but does not dispute the aforesaid fact. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Ranjeet Kumar, learned Sessions Judge, Hazaribag, in connection with Barkatha P.S.
