By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner is aggrieved by the notice issued to him on 01.03.2025 for penal rent to be charged for official accommodation even though he stood transferred from PAC Fatehpur to Traffic Police, Fatehpur. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner can retain the official accommodation as he has been transferred in the same district. In the considered view of the Court, since the petitioner has been just issued with a notice, he should first submit his reply to the same and after any decision is taken that he may approach this Court again. Accordingly, this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to submit his reply to the notice dated 01.03.2025 within a period of three weeks from today and in the event, he submits reply, the same shall be disposed of within a further period of one month by passing reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law.
