Against the order dated 21.02.2025 passed by the respondent No.2/Prescribed Authority/City Magistrate, Rampur in the proceedings initiated against the petitioner under Section 9 of the Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971, an appeal being Appeal No.18 of 2025 has been filed before the District Judge, Rampur. 2. Though the present petition has been filed with the prayer to quash the order dated 21.02.2025 passed by the respondent No.2/Prescribed Authority/City Magistrate, Rampur but after some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner confined his prayer only to the effect to direct the District Judge, Rampur to decide the aforesaid appeal expeditiously. 3. Learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.1 to 4 and Ms. Tanya Mishra, learned counsel for respondent No.5 has no objection to the aforesaid prayer. 4. In the facts and circumstances of the case & with the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of directing the District Judge, Rampur to decide the Appeal No.18 of 2025 strictly in accordance with law most expeditiously and preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order but after providing opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned, if there is no legal impediment.
