The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Pakartanr P.S. Case No. 12 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.175 of 2024, S.T. Case No.71 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Sri Rajeev Kumar Sinha, learned Sessions Judge, Simdega. On 08.06.2024, the brother of the informant consumed liquor with the petitioner and co-accused persons. Thereafter, he was found murdered. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that apart from the fact that the petitioner has consumed liquor with the deceased, there is no material against him on record. It was further submitted that co-accused Mikhail Kullu has been granted bail by this Court in B.A. No. 8677/2024 and the case of the petitioner stands on similar footing. Learned A.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail but does not dispute the aforesaid fact. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Rajeev Kumar Sinha, learned Sessions Judge, Simdega, in connection with Pakartanr P.S. Case No. 12 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.175 of 2024, S.T. Case No.71 of 2024. (Ambuj Nath, J.) BS/-
