3. The present Special Leave to Appeal has been filed on behalf of the Appellant under Sections 413/419 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking leave to appeal against the impugned
judgment and order dated 12.11.2024, passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Laksar, District Haridwar, whereby the private respondent has been acquitted of the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, in Criminal Case No. 340 of 2022, titled “Rishipal Singh vs. Nand Kishore Goyal”.
4. Upon consideration of the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the Appellant, this Court is of the view that, at this stage, sufficient grounds exist to grant leave. Accordingly, the Special Leave to Appeal is granted.
5. The Registry is directed to prepare the paper book and supply copies thereof to learned counsel for the parties, in accordance with the Rules.
6. Objections, if any, be filed by the Respondent.
7. List this case on 02.06.2026 for final hearing.
