Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Torpa P.S. Case No. 17 of 2021, corresponding to S.T. Case No.227 of 2021, for the offeneces registered under Sections 25(1-B)a, 25(6), 26/ 35 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of the CLA Act, pending in the Court of learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-II, Khunti. On 15.03.2021 at about 6:15 P.M., Torpa police apprehended named accused persons from Jaria Hao Main Road, Torpa and on search, firearms were recovered from the possession of the co-accused persons. It was submitted that petitioner was neither apprehended at the place of occurrence nor anything was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that petitioner is in custody since 14.09.2023. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail, but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-II, Khunti, in connection with Torpa P.S. Case No. 17 of 2021, corresponding to S.T. Case No.227 of 2021. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
