CRM(A) 2285 of 2025 reject An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Chopra P.S. Case No.141 of 2019 dated 24.02.2019 under Sections 447/341/323/325/307/506/34 of the IPC. And In the matter of:
Semeddin @ Samiruddin and others … petitioners
Mr. M. Nazar Chowdhury
Ms. Priyanka Saha
Ms. Farheen Rais … for the petitioners
Mr. Shiladitya Banerjee
Mr. Ratul Ghosh … for the State
Report filed by the State is taken on record. Heard learned counsels for the parties. It appears that the petitioner Nos.1 and 5 have already been arrested. The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected as having become infructuous. It also appears that the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is a second application without any changed circumstance. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail for the petitioner Nos.2 to 4 is rejected as not maintainable.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
