Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 2. The present petition has been filed with the following prayer: "(i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding to the respondent no. 2 to cancel the lease (Patta) of the Wetland (taal) bearing Gata No. 3771.472 Hectare, 380/2.526 Hectare which have been taken place on 23.10.2024. (ii) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding to the respondent no. 2 to take action upon the complaint dated 28.10.2024 sent by the petitioner." 3. Learned Standing Counsel has raised a preliminary objection that the petitioner has an alternative remedy of filing an appeal under Rule 59 of U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act. 4. Since the petitioner has an alternative remedy, I am not inclined to entertain the instant petition. 5.
