The petitioner named above has been made accused in connection with Korrah P.S. Case No. 62 of 2023 (N.D.P.S. Case No. 22 of 2023) registered for the offence under Sections 21(b), 21(c), 22(b), 22(c), 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge 1st -cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Hazaribag. Earlier the prayer for bail of this petitioner was rejected twice by this Court on merit. Prayer for bail of the petitioner is being renewed on the ground that the petitioner has remained in custody for two years. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the matter involves seizure of commercial quantity of opium from the possession of the petitioner and the trial has just commenced. On perusal of the earlier order, it appears that the regular bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected twice on merit and I do not find any change of circumstance for renewing his prayer for bail.
