Case No. 616/2024 arising out of Ratu P.S. Case No. 397/2023, for the offences registered under Sections 376, 420, 498A/34 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned A.J.C. XX, Ranchi. 3. The petitioner was in consensual physical relationship with the prosecutrix for about two years. They also got married. It is alleged that subsequently, the petitioner started demanding dowry and to enforce the demand of dowry, prosecutrix was tortured. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the prosecutrix has not sustained any injury at the hands of the petitioner. It was further submitted that the petitioner is in custody for about eight months. 5. Ms. Anuradha Sahay, learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. 6. Considering the period of custody and the nature of allegation, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.J.C. XX, Ranchi in connection with S.T. Case No. 616/2024 arising out of Ratu P.S. Case No. 397/2023. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Nandini/- Uploaded
