The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Bahragora P.S. Case No. 73 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 20 and 22 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Jamshedpur. 3. On 08.11.2024, at about 01:50 p.m., Bahragora Police, on the basis of confidential information, intercepted a pickup van bearing Registration No. OR11D1986 and apprehended this petitioner and two other accused persons. On search, 20 kgs of cannabis were recovered from the said pickup van. 4. Considering the fact that commercial quantity of cannabis was recovered from the possession of the petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
