Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Mandu (WB) P.S. Case No. 226 of 2024, for the offence registered under Section 309(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ramgarh.
On 21.09.2024, robbery was committed in the house of the informant by unknown persons.
It was submitted that some of the stolen jewelries were recovered from the shop of the petitioner. It was also submitted that petitioner is a Bonafide purchaser and he has got no criminal antecedent and this fact has been mentioned at paragraph-14 of the bail application. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused has been granted bail by this Court.
In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ramgarh, in connection with Mandu (WB) P.S. Case No. 226 of 2024.
