The Writ petition is being filed aggrieved with the action of the respondents in not releasing financial assistance of Rs. 15,00,000/- to the son of the petitioner by name Sardar Praveen under “NTR Videshi Vidya Parana Scheme” Overseas Scholarship Application ID:OV2018120099 as illegal arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 & 21 of the Constitution of India. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner got selected under the scheme “Videshi Vidhya Darana” Overseas Scholarship Application ID: OV2018120099, for studying Criminology and Criminal I Psychology at University of Grenwich, Grenwich Campus, Old Rayl Naval College, London. Though the son of the petitioner completed his study and requested to release the amount of Rs. 15,00,000/- under the scheme. Respondent Nos.1 to 5 did not consider the same. Hence the writ petition. 3. On the other hand, learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare Department while admitting about the claim of the petitioner, submitted written instructions of the Director of BC Welfare in Rc.No.B/2240/2024 dated 04.11.2024, wherein it is stated that, an amount of Rs. 10,00,000/- of the student bearing bill No.;2024-510508 has already been forwarded to Treasury through AP BC Corporation and the bill is waiting for fund clearance. 4. In view of the aforesaid directions of this Court in various cases and after hearing the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare Department, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to release to the son of the petitioner namely Sri Sardar Praveen Videshi Vidya an amount of Rs.10,00,000/- under the scheme ‘NTR Darana’ with Overseas Scholarship Application ID: OV2018120099, within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt open to the petitioner to agitate his if any payable by the respondents, in an appropriate forum.
