GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the illegal trespass by the respondent No.3 into my house premises on 10-08-2025 at 12.00 pm without there being any valid reason and threatening me with dire consequences to accompany them to the respondent No.3 police station as arbitrary, illegal and contrary to law and in violation of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondent police not to interfere with the peaceful life of the petitioner in the interest of justice.” 2 2. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that the police have visited the house of the petitioner only to serve notice under Section 35(3) of BNSS. 3. For ready reference, the written instructions are extracted hereunder: “Accordingly, on 10.08.2025, the said police personnel visited the residence at Srinivasa Nilayam, Ameerpet, Hyderabad, where A-1 and A-2 were residing. Far from the allegations made by the petitioner, the police officials neither trespassed into the premises nor threatened anyone. On the contrary, the writ petitioner herself along with her brother, Chodisetti Phani Deepak, voluntarily interacted with the police officials and handed over a written letter stating that their mother, A-1, was hospitalized and that therefore they were unable to present A-2 immediately, but assured that he would be produced without fail by 16.08.2025. The police personnel accepted the letter and returned after serving the notices lawfully upon the accused.” 4. Recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
