During the pendency of the petition both the petitioner Nos.1 and 2 and respondent No.2 appeared through their counsels and filed joint compromise application under Section - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:15882 CRL.P No. 9482 of 2022 Section 320(2) of Cr.P.C. seeking permission of this court for compound the offence. It is also submitted that a civil suit also filed by the accused Nos.1 and 2/ petitioner No.1 and 2 in OS.No.4189/2018 against the respondent No.2. And in the said suit there was a compromise held between the parties by filing compromise application and the parties are already compromised the dispute in terms of the compromise before the Civil Court, suit was disposed off. Respondent No.2 present, submits no objection. In view of the submission made by the parties, application is allowed. Permitted them to compound the offence. Consequently, the petition is allowed. The criminal proceedings against the petitioners arising out of PCR.No.10731/2022 in crime No.94/2022 pending on the file of VIII Addl. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Bengaluru, registered by the High Ground police, for the offences - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:15882 CRL.P No. 9482 of 2022 punishable under Section 420 R/w 34 of IPC, is hereby quashed.
