The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondent nos. 1 to 6, for taking action against the unauthorized construction being carried out by respondent no. 7 over the property bearing No. B-63, Khasra No. 174, Paryavaran Complex, Saidulajab, New Delhi- 110030. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (“MCD”), on advance notice, submits that Show Cause Notice with respect to the unauthorized construction in the property in question, has already been issued on 19th September, 2025, followed by a Work Stop Notice dated 22nd September, 2025. 3. Noting the aforesaid, MCD is directed to take appropriate action against the unauthorized construction, after following the due procedure, in accordance with law. 5. In case, any of the parties are aggrieved by any action or non-action on the part of the MCD, their right to seek remedies, in accordance with law, is reserved. 6. The MCD, along with the Station House Officer (“SHO”), Police Station-Mehrauli, is directed to ensure that no further unauthorized construction takes place in the property in question. 7. It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s case, or with regard to the status of the unauthorized construction existing in the property in question. 8.
