Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Ghatshila P.S. Case No. 33 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. No.181 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 461, 379 of the IPC, pending in the Court of learned A.C.J.M., Ghatshila. In the Intervening night of 23/24.06.2024, theft was committed in the liquor shop of the informant. Unknown thieves took away Rs. 3,10,000/- from there. It was submitted that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R., and his name has transpired in the confession of co-accused. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was finally submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court as well as by Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail, but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Ghatshila, in connection with Ghatshila P.S. Case No. 33 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. No.181 of 2024. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
