Sr. No. 22 HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT JAMMU Case: CPSW 601/2014 in SWP 2163/2014 Ashok Kumar …Petitioner(s)/Appellant(s) Through: None V/s Asgar Ali Majaz & Anr. ... Respondent(s) Through: Ms. Saliqa Sheikh, Advocate vice Mr. Raman Sharma, AAG CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE VINOD CHATTERJI KOUL, JUDGE ORDER 16.09.2025 This petition was listed way back in the year 2014. Statement of facts/compliance report has already been filed. On the previous date, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Today also, the matter was called twice but neither the petitioner nor anyone on his behalf has chosen to appear. I have perused the statement of facts/compliance report filed by the respondents and find myself satisfied with the compliance report so filed. It appears that either the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed or he has lost interest in prosecuting the same. In view of the above, the proceedings in the instant petition are closed for non-prosecution. Contempt notices, if any, shall stand withdrawn. It is, however, made clear that in case any surviving cause of action exists, the petitioner may avail appropriate remedy as may be admissible under law. (VINOD CHATTERJI KOUL) JUDGE Jammu 16.09.2025 AKHILESH
