Heard the parties.
2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Bariatu P.S. Case No. 64/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C), 22(c) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Latehar.
3. On 24.10.2024 at about 10:00 P.M., Bariatu police, on the basis of confidential information, raided the house of the petitioner and on search, 64.81 kgs. of cannabis were recovered from there.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was not present in the house at the time of occurrence. It was further submitted that though the petitioner resides in the same house, he is not involved in trade of cannabis. It was finally submitted that brother of the petitioner namely Naresh Prasad, who is also an accused is having criminal antecedent but the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.
5. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Latehar in connection with Bariatu P.S. Case No. 64/2024.
