The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 with a prayer to grant anticipatory bail to him in case FIR No.221 dated 16.08.2024, registered under Sections 18 of NDPS Act (Section 29 of NDPS Act added later on), at Police Station Sahnewal, District Ludhiana. 2. Learned Senior counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the order dated 03.03.2025 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation. 3. Short reply has been filed by way of an Assistant Commissioner of Police (South) Police Commissionerate Ludhiana in Court today and the same is taken on record. Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Harmeet Singh, has submitted that the petitioner has joined the investigation on 10.03.2025 and is no longer required for further investigation.
