THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: CORAM: HON'BLE MR JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER The petitioner contends that in the year 2010, grants have been made in favour six persons in respect of Sy.No.46 of Kagalipura Village, Uttarahalli-2 Hobli, Bangalore South Taluk. It is the contention of the petitioner that the katha has been registered in favour of the other five persons, but has not been made out in the name of the petitioner. Therefore, the - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:10936 WP No. 21374 of 2024 petitioner has given several representations, including the recent representation dated 30.10.2023 at Annexure-L, seeking registration of the katha in favour of the petitioner, in terms of what was done to the other five grantees at Annexure-G. 2. Having regard to the contentions of the petitioner, this Court is of the considered opinion that if under similar circumstances in terms of Annexure-G, katha has been made out in the name of the other five persons, then the petitioner is also entitled for similar relief. 3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to 4th respondent-Tahsildar, Bangalore South Taluk, to consider the representations given by the petitioner, including the representation at Annexure-L dated 30.10.2023, and verify from the records as to whether the persons at Annexure-G are registered as kathedars in respect of the other portions of the lands said to have been granted to them. If that is so, and if by virtue of Annexure-G, the petitioner is also granted lands, the case of the petitioner shall also be considered for registration of khata in accordance with law. - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:10936 WP No. 21374 of 2024 The entire excise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
