Heard the parties. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Gopikandar P.S. Case No. 07 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.546 of 2024 (S.T. Case No.133 of 2024), for the offences registered under Sections 395 and 412 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned District & Sessions Judge-III, Dumka. On 03.03.2024, dacoity was committed in the school of the informant. The dacoits looted away several articles from there. It was submitted that petitioner was neither named in the F.I.R. nor anything was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that the name of the petitioner has transpired in confession of co-accused. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail, but admitted that petitioner was neither identified in the T. I. Parade nor anything was recovered from his possession. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned District & Sessions Judge-III, Dumka, in connection with Gopikandar P.S. Case No. 07 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.546 of 2024 (S.T. Case No.133 of 2024).
