By this Writ Petition, the petitioners are challenging the order dated 23.09.2025 passed by the Respondent No.2/ Caste Scrutiny Committee invalidating the caste claims of the petitioners of belonging to ‘Koli Mahadev’ Scheduled Tribe. 3. Learned Advocate for the petitioners points out that the blood relatives of the petitioners have been granted conditional validities by this Court vide order dated 07.01.2021 in Writ Petition No.127 of 2021 in the case of Shweta Jaywant More vs. The State of Maharashtra and Ors. So also by order dated 22.03.2021 in Writ Petition No.4577 of 2021 in the case of Virendra Gopalrao More vs. The State of Maharashtra and Ors. and order dated 13.12.2023 in Writ Petition 2025:BHC-AUG:28606-DB 2 947.WP-12451-2025.doc No.13757 of 2023 in the case of Shrinath Shivshankar More vs. The State of Maharashtra and Another. 4. The learned Advocate for the petitioners also points out that this Court has also granted conditional validity to the real brother of the petitioners vide order dated 11.01.2021 viz. Nagnath Vinayak More in Writ Petition (ST.) No.26272 of 2020. 5. The learned A.G.P does not dispute the relationship of the petitioners with those blood relatives in whose favour this Court have granted validities. 6. Considering the same, we are inclined to allow the Writ Petition partly. Hence, this order : ORDER i) Impugned order dated 23.09.2025 passed by the Respondent No.2/ Caste Scrutiny Committee is quashed and set-aside. ii) The Respondent No.2/ Caste Scrutiny Committee shall issue validity certificates to the petitioners of ‘Koli Mahadev’ Scheduled Tribe immediately. iii) The said certificates shall be subject to the decision that would be taken by the Committee in the validation proceedings reopened of the validity holders relied by the petitioners. 3 947.WP-12451-2025.doc iv) Writ petition is disposed of.
