This Court, vide order dated 12.04.2024, passed in MCRC No. 938 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicants, namely, Chhotu @ Najim Khan and Ravi Rajak, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there was no legal RAJSHEKHAR SONI Digitally signed by RAJSHEKHAR SONI 2 impediment. 3. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Bilaspur, District-Bilaspur, (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 27.12.2024 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that in this case, charges have been framed by the former presiding ofÏcer and at present statement of 04 prosecution witnesses have been recorded by the present presiding ofÏcer and 07 witnesses are left to be examined. Considering the number of witnesses in this case, it is likely to take some time for concluding the trial. Therefore, he prays for grant of further more time for concluding the trial. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
