Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 449/2024, arising out of Bagbera P.S. The petitioner is alleged to have physically assaulted the victim on the pretext of marriage. Later on, the petitioner refused to marry her. It was submitted that the occurrence had taken place on 01.04.2023 and the parties continued to establish physical relationship. It appears that the present FIR has been registered after one year.
