1. The petitioners are seeking the concession of anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.97 dated 19.10.2023 under Sections 406, 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Mansa Devi Complex, District Panchkukla.
2. On 28.02.2025, while noticing the following, this Court had granted the concession of interim bail to the petitioners and asked them to join investigation:-
“In compliance of order dated 28.11.2024, the petitioners have already handed over `3 lakh to the complainant (`2 lakh by way of RTGS on 27.02.2025 and `1 lakh by way of a demand draft in the Court today).”

submissions made on the previous dates of hearing. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in the case in hand for allegedly cheating the complainant to the tune of more than `16 lakh on the pretext of getting him Government job. It has been submitted that the petitioners' false implication in the case in hand finds credence from the fact that the present case is a counter-blast to the civil suit filed by wife of petitioner Sukhwinder Singh. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in compliance of order dated 28.02.2025, the petitioners have joined investigation and cooperated with the investigating agency.
4. Learned State counsel, on instructions, does not dispute the factum of the petitioners having joined investigation and cooperated with the investigating agency. He, on further instructions, submits that the petitioners are not required for further investigation much less for their custodial interrogation.
5. In view of the above, both the petitions are allowed and interim order dated 28.02.2025, is made absolute subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C./Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
6. Pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
